Pupil Parliament

As a school we value the thoughts, ideas and opinions of all our children and the school council is one way of ensuring the 'voice' of all the children is heard, listened to and acted upon.

The children on the council are elected by their peers and attend regular child-led meetings. They are  responsible for sharing ideas from their classes and leading a variety of projects and events that matter to them. The work of the school council can, and does have a real impact on the whole school community. The children feel they have 'ownership' over aspects of their school lives.

The school council have a board opposite the library showing who the councillors are and there is also a suggestion box for children to pop in ideas or suggestions they want raised at our meetings.
